The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) and contractor partner, Myers & Sons will close 27th Street between Blake Ave. and CO 82 to continue underground utility work at this location. The closure is expected to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 5-Wednesday, Sept. 6. RFTA buses will still be operating at this location but vehicles will not have access.
Motorists looking to access parking at the RFTA BRT station will still be able to use Blake Ave. to get there. The west portion of 27th Street from CO 82 to South Grand Ave. will not be impacted by this closure. This operation will be in place 24/7.
Travel safe this Labor Day Weekend.
Crews will be off the roadway midday on Friday, Sept. 1-Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
