To get around the closed section from 23rd to 29th street on the Rio Grande Trail follow the clearly marked directional and wayfinding signs and see detour route.

23rd street will have directional and wayfinding signs to guide trail users to either 27th Street Transit Station or reroute down Grand Ave. back on to the Rio Grande Trail at 29th street.
The Rio Grande Trail will be closed and detoured from late April 2023 until the project completion in October 2024.
Directional and wayfinding signs will guide trail users from the detour that will go from 29th St. to Grand Ave. until it ties back into the Rio Grande Trail at 23rd St.
