Northbound (down valley) left turn lane from CO 82 onto westbound 27th Street closed

IMPORTANT SAFETY CLOSURE: Due to the changing work zone conditions needed to complete the detour and risky driver behavior at the intersection of CO 82 & 27th Street, it is necessary to CLOSE the northbound (down valley) left turn lane from CO 82 onto westbound 27th Street until the end of the month. This turning movement will reopen when the full traffic shift and new alignment is implemented by the end of the month. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes around this area to balance the traffic volumes during the peak morning and evening commutes. Delays should be expected.

Thursday, July 20-Friday, July 21 - Traffic signal and detour work continues from 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Monday, July 24-28 - It’s anticipated that northbound traffic will switch to the new alignment on Friday, July 28.

The left turn lane from CO 82 to westbound 27th Street is closed until the end of the month.
